Responsibility
- Develop and maintain production schedules to ensure on-time delivery of products while optimizing resource utilization.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (procurement, warehouse, and quality control) to align production plans with inventory and demand forecasts.
- Monitor and analyze production performance metrics, identifying bottlenecks and implementing corrective actions.
- Liaise with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely material availability and resolve supply chain disruptions.
- Prepare and present daily/weekly/monthly production reports to management with actionable insights.
- Implement lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste and improve operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to schedule preventive maintenance without disrupting production.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards in all planning activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or logistics within a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Familiarity with Just-in-Time (JIT) and Kanban methodologies is a plus.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while meeting tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of ISO standards and quality management systems is advantageous.
