Responsibility
- Develop and maintain detailed production schedules for shared equipment resources to optimize efficiency and meet demand.
- Collaborate with factory managers, supervisors, and cross-functional teams to align production goals with operational capabilities.
- Monitor and adjust schedules in real-time to accommodate priority changes, equipment downtime, or resource constraints.
- Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards in all planning activities.
- Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to synchronize material availability with production timelines.
- Generate reports and presentations to communicate schedule performance, risks, and corrective actions to stakeholders.
- Implement lean manufacturing principles to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or manufacturing operations.
- Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience in electronics manufacturing or high-mix, low-volume production environments is a plus.
- Knowledge of Six Sigma, Kaizen, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
