Responsibility
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods.
- Coordinate with team members to ensure efficient inventory management and order fulfillment.
- Maintain accurate records of stock levels, shipments, and deliveries using warehouse management systems.
- Supervise and train warehouse staff, fostering a productive and safe work environment.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Optimize warehouse space utilization and organize storage areas for maximum efficiency.
- Liaise with suppliers, transporters, and other departments to streamline logistics processes.
- Monitor equipment and report any maintenance needs to management.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or a related field.
- Strong leadership and team management skills for Supervisor candidates.
- Proficiency in warehouse management software and basic computer applications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work in rotating shifts and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of inventory control principles and best practices in warehouse safety.
- Physical fitness to handle manual tasks, including lifting and moving goods.
