Responsibility
- Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies between system records and actual stock.
- Perform cycle counts and spot audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends, variances, or potential issues affecting stock levels.
- Collaborate with warehouse and logistics teams to investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Prepare detailed audit reports and present findings to management with actionable recommendations.
- Ensure adherence to internal controls, SOX compliance, and industry best practices for inventory management.
- Assist in the implementation of inventory improvement initiatives, including process automation and system enhancements.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all audit activities and findings for future reference.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in inventory auditing, warehouse operations, or supply chain management.
- Strong knowledge of inventory control systems, ERP software, and audit methodologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and data analysis tools.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Certification in CPA, CIA, or CMA is a plus but not required.
