Responsibility
- Develop and implement APAC sourcing strategies for canned food portfolios to optimize costs and ensure supply continuity.
- Lead supplier negotiations, contract management, and performance evaluations to secure favorable terms and drive value.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, finance, and quality assurance, to align procurement activities with business goals.
- Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, ensuring timely delivery of materials and minimizing disruptions.
- Monitor market trends, pricing, and supplier capabilities to make data-driven procurement decisions.
- Manage supplier relationships, fostering long-term partnerships that support business growth and innovation.
- Oversee procurement processes, ensuring compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance procurement efficiency, reduce lead times, and improve overall supply chain performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. A master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CPSM, CIPS) is a plus.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in procurement, with at least 3 years in a managerial role within the FMCG or food manufacturing industry.
- Proven track record in APAC sourcing, supplier negotiation, and contract management.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data, financial reports, and supply chain metrics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong supplier relationships.
- Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards in the FMCG industry.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
