Responsibility
- Develop and maintain production schedules to meet customer demand and optimize resource utilization.
- Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, and production teams to ensure timely material availability.
- Monitor inventory levels and implement just-in-time (JIT) strategies to minimize waste and costs.
- Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and propose process improvements.
- Liaise with sales and customer service teams to align production plans with order commitments.
- Prepare and present reports on production performance, lead times, and capacity utilization.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards in all planning activities.
- Adapt schedules dynamically to accommodate urgent orders or supply chain disruptions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or logistics within the manufacturing sector.
- Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills for data analysis.
- Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and demand forecasting techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions.
- Familiarity with plastic manufacturing processes is a plus.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
