Responsibility
- Develop and maintain detailed production schedules to meet customer demand and inventory targets.
- Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, and production teams to ensure timely material availability.
- Monitor and analyze production performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Optimize inventory levels to minimize costs while ensuring adequate stock for operations.
- Liaise with suppliers and vendors to resolve material shortages or delays.
- Prepare and present reports on production progress, challenges, and solutions to management.
- Implement lean manufacturing principles to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
- Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to align production with market demand.
Qualifications
- Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Materials Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in production planning, inventory control, or supply chain coordination.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel for data analysis.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing, Just-in-Time (JIT), or Six Sigma principles is a plus.
- Fluency in English; additional language skills are advantageous.
