Responsibility
- Develop and maintain detailed production schedules to meet customer demand and inventory targets.
- Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, and production teams to ensure timely material availability and workflow efficiency.
- Monitor and adjust production plans in response to supply chain disruptions, priority changes, or capacity constraints.
- Liaise with sales and customer service teams to align order fulfillment with production capabilities.
- Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery, lead times, and production cycle efficiency.
- Implement lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste and improve process productivity.
- Resolve scheduling conflicts and bottlenecks proactively to maintain operational continuity.
- Utilize ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) to manage data, generate reports, and support decision-making.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related fields.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or logistics coordination within manufacturing.
- Proficiency in ERP/MRP software (e.g., SAP, Microsoft Dynamics) and Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Just-in-Time (JIT) methodologies is a plus.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
- Familiarity with ISO standards and quality management systems is advantageous.
