Responsibility
- Coordinate with Production Supervisors and Department Leaders to align production schedules with operational capabilities.
- Monitor machinery and workforce availability to ensure timely execution of production plans.
- Develop and maintain detailed production schedules to meet customer demand and inventory requirements.
- Identify potential bottlenecks and implement corrective actions to optimize production efficiency.
- Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to production planning and execution.
- Collaborate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely availability of raw materials.
- Maintain accurate records of production schedules, changes, and performance metrics.
- Continuously improve planning processes to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or a similar role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using production planning software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is an advantage.
