Responsibility
- Operate and monitor production machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and output.
- Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and minor repairs on manufacturing equipment.
- Inspect and test products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment.
- Document production data, including output, downtime, and quality metrics, for reporting and analysis.
- Collaborate with team members to identify process improvements and efficiency enhancements.
- Assist in the setup and calibration of machinery for new production runs.
- Adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and comply with industry regulations.
Qualifications
- Minimum Diploma or Vocational Certificate in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Production Operator, Machine Operator, or Technician in manufacturing or logistics (1-3 years preferred).
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to read blueprints, schematics, and manuals.
- Familiarity with quality control processes, lean manufacturing, or Six Sigma is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in shift-based environments and meet production deadlines.
- Good communication skills in English (written and verbal).
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights (up to 20 kg).
