Responsibility
- Operate and monitor production machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and output.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions to maintain product quality and consistency.
- Conduct regular quality checks on products and materials to identify defects or deviations from specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment to prevent downtime and extend machinery lifespan.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental (HSE) protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily, weekly, and monthly production targets.
- Document production data, including output quantities, downtime, and any issues encountered during shifts.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving minor equipment or process issues.
Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in manufacturing or a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Production Operator or in a similar role within the manufacturing or logistics industry.
- Ability to read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and technical manuals.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Physical stamina and ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks.
- Basic understanding of machinery operation and maintenance principles.
- Willingness to work in shift patterns, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
