Responsibility
- Operate and monitor production machinery to ensure efficient and safe manufacturing processes.
- Conduct quality control inspections on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on production equipment to minimize downtime.
- Document and report any deviations or defects in production to the supervisor for corrective action.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets and quality standards.
- Assist in the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and quality.
- Maintain accurate records of production activities, quality checks, and equipment maintenance.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment, preferably in a quality control role.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects or inconsistencies in products.
- Basic understanding of production machinery and quality control tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers).
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights as required.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and willingness to adhere to workplace safety standards.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting.
