Responsibility
- Operate and monitor production machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and output in compliance with aerospace industry standards.
- Conduct thorough Quality Control (QC) inspections on finished products, components, and materials to verify adherence to specifications and AWS standards.
- Perform routine maintenance and calibration of tools and equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Document and report any deviations, defects, or non-conformities, and initiate corrective actions as required.
- Follow strict safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace in accordance with industry regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering and logistics, to streamline production processes and improve efficiency.
- Utilize Visual Basic (VB) scripts or software tools to assist in data collection, analysis, and reporting for quality assurance.
- Adhere to the 4334 rotating shift pattern and maintain high productivity levels during assigned shifts.
Qualifications
- Minimum Diploma or equivalent in Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality Control, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Production Operator or QC Specialist, preferably in the aerospace, automotive, or precision engineering industries.
- Familiarity with Aerospace Welding Standards (AWS) and quality control methodologies (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100).
- Basic knowledge of Visual Basic (VB) or other programming tools for data management and automation.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specification sheets.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities to identify and resolve quality issues.
- Ability to work in a rotating shift environment (4334 pattern) and adapt to changing priorities.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented setting.
