Responsibility
- Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts using statistical models, historical data, and market intelligence.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations teams to align demand plans with business strategies.
- Monitor inventory levels and recommend adjustments to prevent stockouts or excess inventory.
- Analyze supply chain metrics and KPIs to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Prepare and present demand planning reports to stakeholders, highlighting insights and actionable recommendations.
- Work closely with suppliers and logistics partners to ensure timely procurement and distribution.
- Utilize ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and demand planning tools to streamline processes and enhance accuracy.
- Support new product launches by assessing demand potential and coordinating with production teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in demand planning, supply chain analytics, or inventory management.
- Proficiency in forecasting tools (e.g., SAP IBP, Oracle Demantra) and Excel/Google Sheets (advanced functions, pivot tables, macros).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and derive actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to collaborate across departments.
- Experience in the technology or manufacturing industry is a plus.
- Certifications in CSCP, CPIM, or APICS are highly desirable.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a bonus.
