Responsibility
- Oversee the receipt, inspection, and storage of maintenance materials and spare parts.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock audits to ensure data integrity.
- Coordinate with the maintenance team to ensure timely issuance of materials and spare parts.
- Implement and enforce warehouse safety and security protocols.
- Optimize warehouse layout and storage systems to maximize space utilization and efficiency.
- Monitor inventory levels and initiate procurement requests to prevent stockouts.
- Train and supervise warehouse staff to ensure adherence to standard operating procedures.
- Generate reports on inventory status, material usage, and warehouse performance metrics.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in warehouse management, preferably in a manufacturing or logistics environment.
- Strong knowledge of inventory control principles and warehouse management systems.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively.
- Proficient in using inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address inventory discrepancies and operational challenges.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with internal teams and external suppliers.
