Responsibility
- Operate and monitor manufacturing machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and output.
- Perform quality checks on products to maintain compliance with company and industry standards.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace to prevent accidents and hazards.
- Conduct routine maintenance on equipment and report any malfunctions or issues to the supervisor.
- Track production metrics, including output, downtime, and efficiency, and document findings accurately.
- Assist in the setup and adjustment of machinery for different production runs as required.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets and deadlines.
- Adhere to company policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and work instructions.
Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in manufacturing or a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Production Operator or in a similar role within manufacturing, preferably in cable or industrial production.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights (up to 20-25 kg).
- Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting.
- Ability to work in shifts, including overtime, as required by production demands.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
