Responsibility
- Develop and implement strategic procurement plans to ensure cost-effective purchasing of materials and services.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with production teams to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to secure favorable agreements.
- Analyze market trends, supplier performance, and demand forecasts to make informed purchasing decisions.
- Collaborate with logistics and warehouse teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and components.
- Prepare and maintain accurate procurement records, reports, and documentation.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
- Resolve supply chain disruptions and vendor-related issues proactively.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement, buying, or supply chain planning, preferably in manufacturing or logistics.
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills with a proven track record of cost reduction and supplier management.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, inventory management software, and Microsoft Excel (advanced level).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain supplier relationships.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and just-in-time (JIT) inventory systems is a plus.
- Fluency in English; additional language skills are advantageous.
