Responsibility
- Assist in the packing, loading, and unloading of goods to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
- Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts (if certified), pallet jacks, and hand trucks, to move materials safely and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by conducting regular stock checks and updating warehouse management systems.
- Work at heights to organize and retrieve items from shelves or storage areas as required.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a hazard-free work environment.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily warehouse targets and maintain high productivity levels.
- Use basic computer systems to process orders, generate reports, and track inventory movements.
- Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse to ensure operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Minimum secondary education or equivalent; higher qualifications in logistics or related fields are a plus.
- Proven experience in warehouse operations, packing, or loading roles is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to work at heights and lift heavy objects (up to 25 kg) safely.
- Basic computer literacy, with familiarity in warehouse management systems (e.g., SAP) being an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good physical stamina and the ability to stand, walk, or lift for extended periods.
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain one is highly desirable.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
