Responsibility
- Develop and implement strategic procurement plans to optimize cost efficiency and supplier performance.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with vendors to secure the best value for the organization.
- Manage purchase orders, track deliveries, and ensure timely receipt of goods and services.
- Conduct market research to identify new suppliers, evaluate their reliability, and assess potential risks.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with internal teams to prevent stockouts or excess inventory.
- Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, including contracts, invoices, and supplier communications.
- Collaborate with finance and operations teams to align procurement strategies with budgetary and operational goals.
- Resolve supplier disputes or delivery issues promptly to minimize disruptions to business operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management.
- Proven track record of negotiating contracts and managing supplier relationships.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven procurement decisions.
- Proficiency in procurement software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Knowledge of industry regulations, compliance standards, and best practices in procurement.
