Responsibility
- Operate and monitor production machinery to ensure optimal performance and output quality.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines to maintain a hazard-free workplace.
- Perform routine equipment inspections and report any malfunctions or maintenance needs.
- Assemble, package, and label products according to specifications and quality standards.
- Maintain accurate production records, including output quantities, downtime, and material usage.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets and deadlines.
- Adhere to lean manufacturing principles to minimize waste and improve efficiency.
- Participate in training programs to stay updated on new technologies and processes.
Qualifications
- Minimum secondary education or equivalent; vocational training in manufacturing is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Production Operator or in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to operate machinery safely.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights (up to 20 kg).
- Basic computer skills for data entry and production tracking.
- Ability to work in shifts, including weekends and public holidays, as required.
- Strong communication skills and teamwork-oriented mindset.
