Responsibility
- Oversee daily production operations to ensure on-time delivery of high-quality products while adhering to safety and regulatory standards.
- Develop and implement production schedules, resource allocation, and workflow optimizations to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime.
- Lead, mentor, and train production teams, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as output rates, defect rates, and labor productivity, and take corrective actions as needed.
- Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and quality assurance teams to streamline supply chain processes and reduce lead times.
- Ensure compliance with local and international manufacturing standards, including ISO, OSHA, and industry-specific regulations.
- Drive cost-reduction initiatives through lean manufacturing principles, waste minimization, and process automation.
- Prepare and present regular reports on production performance, budget adherence, and strategic recommendations to senior management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in a Production Manager or similar leadership role within the manufacturing sector.
- Proven expertise in production planning, quality control, and process improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, TQM, Kaizen).
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop cross-functional teams.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with Indonesian labor laws, safety regulations, and environmental compliance standards.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
