Responsibility
- Lead and supervise daily manufacturing operations to meet production targets, quality standards, and delivery timelines.
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and minimize operational costs.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, fostering a zero-accident workplace culture.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive data-informed decision-making and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and quality assurance teams to streamline supply chain and inventory management.
- Train, mentor, and motivate production staff to achieve peak performance and maintain high morale.
- Oversee maintenance of machinery and equipment to prevent downtime and extend asset lifespan.
- Prepare and present regular reports on production metrics, challenges, and strategic recommendations to senior management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Management, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a production or operations management role within the manufacturing sector.
- Proven track record in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and develop high-performing teams.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to troubleshoot production issues and implement solutions.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, production planning software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with ISO standards, GMP, or other industry-specific certifications is highly desirable.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
