Responsibility
- Oversee daily assembly line operations to ensure production targets, quality standards, and delivery schedules are met efficiently.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate assembly line teams to foster a productive and collaborative work environment.
- Implement and monitor quality control procedures to maintain product consistency and compliance with industry standards.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including logistics and quality assurance, to streamline workflows and resolve operational challenges.
- Ensure strict adherence to workplace safety protocols and conduct regular safety audits to minimize risks.
- Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for process optimization.
- Develop and execute training programs to enhance team skills and improve overall operational performance.
- Maintain accurate production records, reports, and documentation for management review.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience (minimum 3 years) in a supervisory or leadership role within a manufacturing or assembly line environment.
- Strong knowledge of production processes, quality control, and lean manufacturing principles.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills to effectively manage teams and resolve operational issues.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in a manufacturing setting.
- Proficiency in using production management software and tools for tracking performance metrics.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
- Certification in occupational health and safety (e.g., OSHA) is a plus.
