Responsibility
- Lead and oversee quality control processes to ensure product excellence and compliance with industry standards.
- Collaborate with the APQP team to develop and implement quality plans for new product launches.
- Work closely with customers and suppliers to address quality concerns and drive continuous improvement.
- Conduct thorough quality audits and inspections to identify and resolve potential issues.
- Develop and maintain quality documentation, including reports, procedures, and specifications.
- Train and mentor junior quality engineers and production staff on quality best practices.
- Analyze quality data and trends to recommend and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory and safety standards in all manufacturing processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality engineering within the manufacturing sector.
- Strong knowledge of quality control methodologies, tools, and standards (e.g., ISO, Six Sigma).
- Experience with Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and related processes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Familiarity with quality management software and tools.
