Responsibility
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment, machinery, and facility systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues, and implement effective repair solutions in a timely manner.
- Conduct regular inspections of production lines, conveyors, and other industrial systems to identify potential failures or inefficiencies.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, parts usage, and downtime reports.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and recommend improvements.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, including lockout/tagout procedures, PPE usage, and compliance with local and industry regulations.
- Install, test, and commission new machinery or upgraded components as needed.
- Assist in inventory management of spare parts and tools, ensuring availability for emergency repairs.
Qualifications
- Diploma or vocational certification in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician in manufacturing, food production, or logistics environments.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, and basic electrical troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
- Hands-on experience with preventive maintenance programs, CMMS software, and predictive maintenance techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with safety standards (OSHA, ISO) and a commitment to workplace safety.
- Strong communication skills in English and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
