Responsibility
- Oversee daily production operations to ensure efficiency and quality standards are met.
- Lead and mentor a team of production staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Develop and implement production schedules to meet deadlines and client expectations.
- Monitor and optimize production processes to reduce waste and improve productivity.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality control protocols.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, logistics, and procurement.
- Analyze production data to identify trends and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely material delivery.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in production management, preferably in footwear or apparel manufacturing.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage teams effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency in production planning software and ERP systems.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
