Responsibility
- Oversee daily production operations, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and efficiency standards.
- Develop and implement production plans, schedules, and resource allocation to meet organizational goals.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a multi-shift production team to achieve performance targets and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to optimize equipment performance, minimize downtime, and implement preventive maintenance programs.
- Monitor and analyze production KPIs, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, promoting a safe and sustainable workplace.
- Work closely with supply chain and logistics teams to align production schedules with demand forecasts and inventory management.
- Drive lean manufacturing initiatives and cost-saving measures to improve operational efficiency and profitability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in production management, preferably in manufacturing, logistics, or a related industry.
- Proven track record of leading production teams, optimizing processes, and driving operational excellence.
- Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Familiarity with health, safety, and environmental regulations in a manufacturing setting.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions under pressure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with ERP systems, production planning software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
