Responsibility
- Plan, direct, and coordinate the production activities to ensure delivery schedules and quality standards are met.
- Optimize production workflows by identifying bottlenecks and implementing process improvements.
- Oversee daily floor operations, ensuring adherence to safety regulations and workplace health standards.
- Manage departmental budget, resource allocation, and raw material inventory levels.
- Lead and mentor production staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Maintain equipment performance through proactive maintenance schedules and upgrades.
- Prepare detailed reports on production metrics, downtime, and operational efficiency for executive review.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 2 years in a managerial capacity.
- Proven track record in implementing Lean, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement methodologies.
- Deep understanding of supply chain logistics, inventory control, and production planning software (ERP).
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate diverse teams and manage conflict effectively.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
- Certification in Project Management (PMP) or Supply Chain Management is a significant advantage.
