Responsibility
- Perform regular maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on food manufacturing machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize equipment downtime and extend machinery lifespan.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues and execute timely corrective actions.
- Collaborate with production teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency enhancements.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies during all maintenance activities.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, spare parts usage, and equipment performance logs.
- Train and mentor junior technicians and production staff on equipment operation and basic maintenance procedures.
- Participate in equipment installation, commissioning, and upgrades as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience as a Production Maintenance Engineer in the food manufacturing industry.
- Strong technical knowledge of food processing machinery, including packaging, filling, and conveyor systems.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with predictive maintenance techniques and condition monitoring tools.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Willingness to work in shifts and be on-call for emergency repairs as required.
