Responsibility
- Develop, implement, and monitor process improvement strategies to enhance production efficiency and reduce downtime.
- Conduct root cause analysis for production issues and propose corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Optimize manufacturing workflows using lean principles, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety regulations, and industry best practices in all production activities.
- Collaborate with R&D, quality control, and maintenance teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges.
- Design and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions for production processes.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as yield, cycle time, and defect rates, and report findings to management.
- Lead or participate in cross-functional projects aimed at introducing new technologies or improving existing systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in production engineering, process improvement, or a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and TQM (Total Quality Management) principles.
- Proficiency in statistical process control (SPC), root cause analysis (RCA), and FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis).
- Experience with CAD/CAM software, ERP systems, or production management tools is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, or other relevant quality standards is advantageous.
