Responsibility
- Oversee and optimize daily production operations to ensure maximum efficiency, quality, and adherence to safety standards.
- Develop and implement process improvements to reduce downtime, waste, and production costs while enhancing product quality.
- Monitor and analyze production metrics, identifying trends and recommending data-driven solutions to enhance performance.
- Collaborate with maintenance, quality assurance, and logistics teams to resolve technical issues and streamline workflows.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and ISO/OSHA standards for workplace safety and environmental sustainability.
- Lead root cause analysis (RCA) for production discrepancies and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Train and mentor production staff on best practices, new technologies, and safety protocols.
- Support the introduction of new products or processes, including feasibility studies, testing, and scale-up.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in production engineering, manufacturing, or a similar role within the industrial sector.
- Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or TPM methodologies.
- Proficient in using CAD/CAM software, ERP systems, and production planning tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex data and implement effective solutions.
- Familiarity with quality control systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and safety regulations (e.g., OSHA).
- Strong communication and leadership skills to manage teams and collaborate with stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
