Responsibility
- Analyze product failures and root causes using data-driven methodologies (e.g., 5 Whys, Fishbone Diagrams).
- Develop and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to eliminate recurring issues.
- Optimize production processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (QA, Maintenance, Operations) to streamline workflows and resolve technical challenges.
- Design and conduct experiments (DOE) to test process improvements and validate solutions.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as OEE, yield rates, and defect rates, and propose actionable insights.
- Lead or support Lean Six Sigma initiatives to drive continuous improvement (e.g., 5S, Kaizen, TPM).
- Document technical findings, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and best practices for knowledge sharing.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in production engineering, process improvement, or manufacturing operations.
- Strong proficiency in root cause analysis (RCA) and problem-solving tools (e.g., 8D, DMAIC).
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement frameworks.
- Familiarity with CAD software, statistical process control (SPC), and production monitoring tools.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Certifications in Six Sigma (Green Belt/Black Belt) or Lean Manufacturing are a plus.
