This internship offers hands-on experience in implementing HSE policies, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with local and international safety standards. Responsibility
- Assist in developing, implementing, and monitoring HSE policies and procedures in accordance with company and regulatory standards.
- Conduct regular workplace inspections to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
- Support the preparation and delivery of HSE training programs for employees to promote safety awareness.
- Participate in incident investigations, document findings, and contribute to root cause analysis.
- Assist in maintaining HSE documentation, including reports, permits, and compliance records.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure adherence to environmental management systems (e.g., ISO 14001).
- Monitor and report on key HSE performance metrics, such as accident rates and near-miss incidents.
- Contribute to emergency response planning, including drills and evacuation procedures.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree program in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of HSE principles, regulations (e.g., OSHA, Indonesian K3 standards), and best practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Indonesian.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for reporting and documentation.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with risk assessment tools and techniques is a plus.
