Responsibility
- Oversee daily production operations to ensure smooth and efficient manufacturing processes.
- Monitor and improve production workflows to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
- Implement and maintain quality control standards to ensure product excellence.
- Collaborate with engineering and design teams to optimize product designs for manufacturability.
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations in the workplace.
- Train and mentor production staff to uphold best practices and operational standards.
- Analyze production data to identify trends and recommend process improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in production engineering or manufacturing operations.
- Strong knowledge of production processes, quality control, and lean manufacturing principles.
- Proficiency in using CAD software and other engineering tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate technical information clearly.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Kaizen) is a plus.
