Responsibility
- Develop and implement product strategies to maximize market share and profitability for assigned chemical and scientific product lines.
- Conduct in-depth market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes.
- Provide technical expertise and consultative support to clients, ensuring they select the right solutions for their applications.
- Collaborate with R&D, marketing, and sales teams to refine product offerings and messaging.
- Create and deliver product training and presentations for internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Monitor product performance, gather customer feedback, and recommend improvements or new product developments.
- Manage product lifecycle from launch to phase-out, including pricing, promotions, and inventory planning.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and industry partners.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology, or a related field; advanced degrees are a plus.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in product management, technical sales, or a similar role within the chemical, pharmaceutical, or scientific industry.
- Proven track record in consultative selling and customer relationship management.
- Strong understanding of chemical products, applications, and industry regulations (e.g., GMP, ISO, REACH).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills in English.
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, CRM software).
- Ability to travel occasionally within Indonesia and internationally for client meetings or trade shows.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
