Responsibility

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, including distributors, retailers, and contractors in Bali.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for Makita’s product lines.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive insights to inform sales strategies.
  • Deliver product presentations, demonstrations, and training sessions to clients and internal teams.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to execute promotions, trade shows, and local campaigns to boost brand visibility.
  • Prepare and submit regular sales reports, forecasts, and customer feedback to management.
  • Provide exceptional after-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction and long-term loyalty.
  • Stay updated on Makita’s product innovations and industry developments to position solutions effectively.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum 3 years of proven experience in B2B sales, preferably in the tools, hardware, or industrial equipment sector.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills with a customer-centric approach.
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently in a field-based role.
  • Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel frequently within Bali and occasionally to other regions.
  • Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia; additional local languages are a plus.
  • Passion for the tools/industrial sector and a track record of building successful client relationships.
