Responsibility
- Interface with factory technical staff and corporate engineering teams to align process improvements with business objectives.
- Develop and implement process optimization strategies to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and improve product quality.
- Conduct root cause analysis for production issues and propose sustainable corrective actions.
- Collaborate with R&D and production teams to integrate new technologies and methodologies into existing processes.
- Create and maintain detailed process documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives, such as Lean or Six Sigma projects, to drive operational efficiency.
- Provide technical training and mentorship to production staff to ensure adherence to best practices.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and report on process performance to senior management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in process engineering, preferably in a manufacturing or electronics environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.
- Proficiency in process simulation tools, CAD software, and statistical analysis tools (e.g., Minitab, JMP).
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to manufacturing processes.
