Responsibility
- Lead the development and introduction of new products from concept to market, ensuring adherence to technical specifications and timelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain) to optimize product performance and manufacturability.
- Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and design reviews to identify and mitigate potential product issues.
- Work closely with customers to gather requirements, provide technical support, and ensure product solutions meet their needs.
- Drive continuous process improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, reduce costs, and increase efficiency.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including product specifications, test reports, and compliance certifications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve product-related issues during development, production, and post-launch phases.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to drive innovation within the team.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field (Masterâs degree is a plus).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in product engineering, development, or a related role, preferably in manufacturing or tech industries.
- Proven experience with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and product lifecycle management (PLM) tools.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and quality standards (e.g., ISO, Six Sigma).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to analyze complex technical challenges.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Experience with DFMEA, PFMEA, and root cause analysis (RCA) is highly desirable.
- Fluency in English; additional languages (e.g., Bahasa Indonesia, Mandarin) are a plus.
