Responsibility
- Lead the end-to-end product development process for cosmetics, skincare, baby care, kids care, and hair care products, from concept to commercialization.
- Collaborate with R&D, marketing, and regulatory teams to ensure products meet quality, safety, and marketability standards.
- Conduct market research and trend analysis to identify opportunities for new product innovations and improvements.
- Oversee formulation development, packaging design, and sensory evaluations to ensure product efficacy and consumer appeal.
- Manage timelines, budgets, and resources to deliver projects on schedule and within scope.
- Ensure compliance with local and international regulations, including BPOM (Indonesia) and ASEAN guidelines.
- Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers to source high-quality raw materials and optimize production processes.
- Train and mentor junior team members to foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Cosmetic Science, or a related field. A Masterâs degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in product development within the cosmetics or personal care industry.
- Proven track record of successfully launching products in skincare, baby care, or hair care categories.
- Strong knowledge of cosmetic formulations, ingredients, and manufacturing processes.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements for cosmetics in Indonesia and ASEAN markets.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency in English and Bahasa Indonesia; additional languages are a bonus.
