Responsibility
- Lead the end-to-end product development process, from ideation to commercialization, for beauty, health, and wellness products.
- Develop and optimize formulations for skincare, haircare, and wellness products, ensuring safety, efficacy, and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with R&D, marketing, and supply chain teams to align product development with business goals and market trends.
- Conduct market research and trend analysis to identify opportunities for innovation and product differentiation.
- Oversee stability testing, sensory evaluations, and performance assessments to ensure product quality and consistency.
- Manage relationships with external partners, including raw material suppliers, manufacturers, and regulatory bodies.
- Drive sustainability initiatives by incorporating eco-friendly ingredients and packaging solutions into product development.
- Monitor industry advancements and emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge in product innovation.
Qualifications
- Bachelorās or Masterās degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Pharmacy, Cosmetic Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in product development, formulation, or R&D within the beauty, health, or wellness industry.
- Proven expertise in developing formulations for skincare, haircare, or wellness products, with a strong understanding of ingredient interactions and regulatory requirements.
- Familiarity with global and local regulatory standards (e.g., ASEAN Cosmetic Directive, FDA, EU regulations) for beauty and wellness products.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and quality.
- Experience with sustainability practices in product development, including eco-friendly ingredients and packaging.
- Fluency in English; additional languages (e.g., Indonesian) are a plus.
