Responsibility
- Develop original apparel designs, including sketches, technical drawings, and digital renderings, aligned with brand identity and market trends.
- Collaborate with textile specialists to select fabrics, colors, and materials that balance aesthetics, functionality, and sustainability.
- Create detailed tech packs and specifications for manufacturing, ensuring accuracy in measurements, stitching, and construction.
- Conduct trend research and competitor analysis to inform design direction and seasonal collections.
- Work closely with production teams to prototype, test, and refine samples, ensuring quality and fit consistency.
- Present design concepts to stakeholders and incorporate feedback to finalize product lines.
- Stay updated on industry innovations, sustainable practices, and emerging technologies in apparel design.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to deadlines and budget constraints.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in apparel product design, preferably in a fast-fashion or lifestyle brand.
- Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and CAD tools.
- Strong portfolio showcasing original designs, technical skills, and a keen eye for detail.
- Deep understanding of garment construction, fabric properties, and manufacturing processes.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to thrive in a creative, deadline-driven environment.
- Knowledge of sustainable and ethical fashion practices is a plus.
