Responsibility
- Design and develop electronic components and systems from concept to production, ensuring compliance with international standards (IEC, ISO, UL)
- Create detailed schematics, PCB layouts, and 3D models using industry-standard tools (Altium, SolidWorks, CAD)
- Conduct thermal, electrical, and mechanical simulations to optimize product performance and reliability
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure design for manufacturability (DFM) and cost optimization
- Perform failure mode analysis and implement design improvements based on test results
- Develop technical documentation including BOMs, assembly instructions, and compliance reports
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies in semiconductor packaging, IoT integration, and miniaturization
- Support cross-functional teams in resolving complex technical issues during product development cycles
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in electronic product design, preferably in automotive, medical, or industrial sectors
- Proficiency in PCB design tools (Altium Designer preferred) and CAD software
- Strong understanding of analog/digital circuit design, power electronics, and EMI/EMC principles
- Experience with DFM, DFA, and design validation testing methodologies
- Familiarity with international safety and compliance standards (CE, FCC, RoHS)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in multidisciplinary teams
- Fluency in English; additional Asian languages would be advantageous
