Responsibility
- Manage and maintain the Product Information Management (PIM) system, ensuring all product data is accurate, complete, and optimized for e-commerce platforms.
- Oversee the onboarding, enrichment, and syndication of product data across multiple sales channels (websites, marketplaces, apps).
- Collaborate with marketing, sales, and supply chain teams to align product data with business strategies and customer expectations.
- Develop and implement data governance policies to standardize product attributes, categorization, and taxonomy.
- Monitor data quality metrics and proactively resolve discrepancies or inconsistencies in product listings.
- Automate data workflows where possible to improve efficiency and reduce manual errors.
- Support product launches by ensuring all digital assets (images, descriptions, specs) are uploaded and validated on time.
- Stay updated on e-commerce trends and PIM best practices to drive continuous improvement in data management processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Business, IT, Data Management, E-Commerce, or a related field.
- Proven experience (2+ years) in product data management, PIM systems (e.g., Akeneo, Salsify, Informatica), or e-commerce catalog management.
- Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms (Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce) and marketplace integrations.
- Excellent attention to detail with a data-driven mindset and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, and data validation tools; familiarity with SQL or API integrations is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience in SEO optimization for product listings is highly desirable.
