Responsibility
- Create, maintain, and update Technical Product Data (TPD) packages, including Items, Bill of Materials (BOM), and Product Specifications, ensuring accuracy and compliance with customer requirements.
- Manage change control processes for product data, including versioning, approvals, and documentation, to support seamless product lifecycle management.
- Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to resolve data discrepancies and optimize data structures for efficiency.
- Develop and implement data governance policies and procedures to maintain data integrity and consistency across systems.
- Utilize Product Data Management (PDM) or Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software to streamline data workflows and improve accessibility.
- Conduct regular audits of product data to identify and correct inaccuracies, redundancies, or outdated information.
- Provide training and support to internal teams on data entry standards, tools, and best practices.
- Generate reports and analytics on product data trends to support decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in product data management, engineering data control, or a similar role.
- Proficiency in PDM/PLM software (e.g., Siemens Teamcenter, Windchill, SAP PLM) and ERP systems.
- Strong understanding of Bill of Materials (BOM) structures, product specifications, and engineering change management processes.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, international environment.
- Familiarity with ISO standards, GD&T, and technical documentation is a plus.
- Strong communication skills in English; proficiency in Dutch or other languages is advantageous.
