Responsibility
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on plant machinery to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and process-related issues, implementing effective troubleshooting and repair solutions.
- Develop and execute modification and upgrade plans for machinery to enhance efficiency, safety, and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize production processes and reduce operational costs.
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs, reports, and documentation in compliance with company and regulatory standards.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and environmental regulations in all maintenance activities.
- Monitor equipment performance metrics and recommend data-driven improvements to enhance productivity.
- Provide technical support and training to operational staff on machinery handling and best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in plant maintenance, process engineering, or a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of machinery diagnostics, preventive maintenance, and repair techniques.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
- Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) and other maintenance software.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in fast-paced, high-pressure environments with a focus on safety and efficiency.
- Certifications in occupational health and safety (OHS) or relevant engineering disciplines are a plus.
