Responsibility
- Supervise and coordinate all MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) installations on-site to ensure compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and local regulations.
- Review and approve MEP shop drawings, technical submittals, and material selections to maintain project quality and efficiency.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions in collaboration with contractors and subcontractors.
- Liaise with architects, engineers, and project managers to resolve technical challenges and ensure seamless integration of MEP systems with structural and architectural designs.
- Manage MEP subcontractors, including scheduling, performance evaluation, and conflict resolution to meet project deadlines and budget constraints.
- Ensure all MEP installations adhere to Indonesian building codes, international standards (e.g., ASHRAE, NFPA), and sustainability best practices.
- Prepare and present progress reports, including cost estimates, timelines, and risk assessments, to senior management and stakeholders.
- Provide technical guidance and training to junior staff and site workers to enhance team capabilities and project outcomes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in MEP supervision, preferably in the construction or hospitality sectors in Indonesia or Southeast Asia.
- Strong knowledge of MEP systems, including HVAC, electrical distribution, fire protection, plumbing, and drainage.
- Familiarity with Indonesian building codes (SNI), local regulations, and international standards (e.g., ASHRAE, IEC, NFPA).
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting MEP drawings, schematics, and technical specifications.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and teams.
- Experience using MEP design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, ETAP) and project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia; additional languages are a plus.
