Responsibility
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize costs and ensure supply chain efficiency.
- Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and evaluate supplier performance.
- Oversee the procurement of materials, equipment, and services for mining operations.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical sourcing practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast demand and align procurement with project timelines.
- Monitor market trends, identify cost-saving opportunities, and recommend process improvements.
- Prepare and present procurement reports, budgets, and performance metrics to senior management.
- Lead and mentor procurement staff, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the mining or natural resources sector.
- Proven track record in strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, and vendor management.
- Strong knowledge of procurement software, ERP systems, and data analysis tools.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Familiarity with industry regulations, safety standards, and sustainable procurement practices.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
- Proficiency in English and Indonesian; additional languages are a plus.
