As a Mine Plan Engineer Supervisor, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop long-term mining plans, conduct feasibility studies, and drive operational improvements that align with our strategic goals.
Responsibility
- Develop and implement short-term and long-term mine plans to optimize resource extraction and operational efficiency.
- Lead and mentor a team of mine planning engineers, ensuring high standards of technical accuracy and compliance.
- Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses for new mining projects and expansions.
- Collaborate with geologists, surveyors, and operations teams to integrate geological data into mine planning models.
- Utilize advanced mine planning software (e.g., Surpac, MineSight, or Vulcan) to create 3D models and simulations.
- Monitor and evaluate mining operations to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reductions.
- Ensure all mining activities adhere to safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
- Prepare and present technical reports, proposals, and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering, Geological Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in mine planning, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Proficient in mine planning software (Surpac, MineSight, Vulcan, or similar).
- Strong understanding of open-pit and underground mining methods, as well as mineral resource estimation.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Familiarity with Indonesian mining regulations and environmental compliance standards.
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills to manage teams and collaborate with stakeholders.
- Willingness to relocate to Bali, Indonesia and work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
