Responsibility
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize cost, quality, and delivery performance.
- Lead vendor selection, evaluation, and negotiation processes to secure favorable terms and pricing.
- Monitor and manage supplier performance, ensuring compliance with contractual agreements and company standards.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to forecast demand and align procurement activities with business needs.
- Oversee inventory management and ensure timely procurement of materials to support production schedules.
- Analyze market trends and supplier capabilities to identify cost-saving opportunities and mitigate risks.
- Maintain accurate procurement records and generate reports for management review.
- Ensure adherence to procurement policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Proven track record in vendor negotiation, contract management, and cost optimization.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with suppliers and internal teams.
- Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of industry regulations and best practices in procurement and supply chain management.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.
