Responsibility
- Oversee and manage the procurement process, ensuring timely and cost-effective sourcing of materials and services.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts and terms to secure the best value for the company.
- Monitor and analyze market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve procurement strategies.
- Collaborate with internal departments to forecast demand and ensure adequate inventory levels.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as local and international procurement regulations.
- Lead and mentor a team of procurement specialists, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
- Prepare and present regular reports on procurement activities, budget adherence, and performance metrics.
- Resolve any issues or disputes with suppliers, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or a similar role, with at least 1 year in a supervisory capacity.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships.
- Proficient in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Knowledge of local and international procurement regulations and best practices.
